Defender 90 Premium Seat Conversion
The Defender 90 Commercial leaves the factory with a bulkhead and no rear seats. This package puts three usable seats back in it, on an M1 crash-tested and certified bench, and finishes the job so it does not look like something bolted in afterwards.
It fits the Land Rover Defender 90 Commercial, L663 shape, 2020 onwards.
Certified Scotseat fitter and supplier
Pro-Van is a certified Scotseat fitter and installer as well as a Scotseat supplier. The bench is Scotseat M1 crash tested seating and we are certified by the manufacturer to fit it, so supply and installation sit with one company rather than being split between a parts seller and a local garage.
Every conversion we carry out leaves with a certificate of conformity, issued by us on completion, for your insurance company and for MOT purposes. It is the document an insurer asks for once a vehicle has had its seat count changed. Parts bought on their own do not come with one, and nobody can issue one for work they did not do.
What we do to the vehicle
The bulkhead comes out. A certified rear bench goes in, trimmed in eco leather or fabric to match your front seats. Two outer passengers get three-point belts in OEM positions and the centre seat gets a lap belt. Genuine OEM B-pillar grab handles cover the holes the bulkhead frame leaves behind and give rear passengers something to hold. Carpeted infills finish the floor.
Fitting is included in the price and carried out at our workshop in Chelmsford by our own engineers. The certificate of conformity is issued on completion.
A Pro Package for the 90 is coming
On the Defender 110 we offer a Pro Package that adds rear window activation and genuine Land Rover passenger car flooring on top of the Premium conversion. We are working towards the same thing for the 90.
It is not on sale, it has no price and it has no date. The column marked "coming soon" below sets out what we are aiming at rather than what you can order, and it is marked that way deliberately. If you want it, tell us. It genuinely helps us decide what the 90 Pro should include, and we will let you know first when it is settled.
Fitting and lead times
Work is carried out at our Chelmsford workshop. If bringing the vehicle to Essex is impractical, on-site fitting can be arranged by enquiry with a travel charge based on your zone. Send us your postcode and we will confirm the options.
Current lead times for Defender Commercial conversions are approximately one to two months, driven by seat supply rather than workshop space. Ask for the live figure when you enquire.

There is one Defender 90 package on sale today. A Pro Package is being worked on, and the column on the right is deliberately marked as unconfirmed so nobody buys on a promise.

Defender 90 Pro Package
We are working on a Pro Package for the 90. The intention is to bring it into line with the Defender 110 Pro, which adds rear window activation and genuine Land Rover passenger car flooring on top of the Premium conversion. Nothing below is confirmed and there is no price yet.

When will the Defender 90 Pro Package be available?
There is no date and no price yet. The 110 Pro Package adds rear window activation and genuine Land Rover passenger car flooring on top of the Premium conversion, and a 90 version along those lines is what we are working towards. Ask us to put you on the list and you will hear when it is settled.
Can I have the 110 Pro specification on my 90 now?
Ask, and be prepared for an honest answer. Some of it can be done on a 90 today as separate work alongside the Premium conversion, and some of it we would rather not quote until we have done the first one properly. Call 01245 392225 and we will tell you which is which.

What happens to the rear windows on a 90?
The Premium Package for the 90 covers the seat, the belts, the bulkhead removal, the grab handles and the carpeted infills. Glass work is quoted separately on the 90 rather than being bundled in, so tell us what you want and we will price it against your vehicle.
How many people can sit in the back?
Three. Two outer seats on OEM-position three-point belts and a centre seat on a lap belt, on an M1 crash-tested and certified bench.
