Auto High Beam Assist activation for the Land Rover Defender.

Auto High Beam Assist switches your headlights between main and dipped beam automatically, using the vehicle's forward-facing camera. Many vehicles leave the factory with the required hardware already fitted but the function switched off. This service enables it on your Defender.

How it works

On unlit roads the system holds main beam for maximum visibility. When it detects oncoming headlights or the tail lights of a vehicle ahead, it dips automatically, then returns to main beam once the road is clear. Manual control from the stalk is retained at all times.

Key features

  • Automatic switching between main and dipped beam
  • Better visibility on unlit and rural roads
  • Reduces glare for oncoming and preceding drivers
  • Uses the vehicle's existing camera and headlight hardware, so no additional parts are needed
  • Full manual override retained

Fitment

Land Rover Defender. Your vehicle must be fitted with the forward-facing camera and headlight hardware the function relies on. If you are unsure whether your vehicle is eligible, contact us with your VIN before ordering and we will confirm.
